Clouds roll in and the rain pours down.  It looks like the sky up above will shatter at any second.  The sun does not show its head. All of a sudden the monotonous tone of the rain stops...there is no more splattering...the birds begin to chirp...the leaves turn upward smiling toward the sky....the sun shines down, warming the earth.  This is the moment called After the Rain.
